DAP Technologies introduces the Microflex CE3240, a lightweight and rugged multi-modular PDA that delivers high performance in the field. This versatile tool is equipped with an Intel Xscale PXA 255 400-Mhz processor and runs the lates Windows CE 5.0 operating system from Microsoft. Supporting optional 2D scanning, the system also delivers wireless connectivity options including GPRS and CDMA 1XRTT WWAN, 802.11b WLAN. The Microflex CE3240 only weighs 1 pound yet features a 3 1/2-inch QVGA TFT transflective color LCD display rated for indoor and outdoor use. The 22-key backlit numeric keyboard with 10 numerican and function keys is ergonimicall designed and comfortable to use. The system is designed to be multi-modular, meaning users can easily add wireless, GPS, 2D barcode readers, image capture and an RFID reader later. Multiple SDIO slot support and a full PCMCIA slot give the system a lot of flexibility. The system can be operated in harsh weather and is certified to IP65 and military standard 810F. The Microflex CE3240 also offers two to four days of working battery life.
